Funktioniert einwandfrei. Praktisch für Touren.
Great app for next to nothing. Not only is it informative, its also entertaining and visually appealing. Support independent developers and grab this app!
Real time data in an easy to understand format, groovy cool!
How do i fix this?
Initially i didnt like this but after few use I like this app very much. Interesting to see the suns position during the day time. My only concern is developer says all the data are from third party server, does it mean that this app will stop working one day?
App rarely loads. Made numerous attempts to illicit response from developer but no luck. Want refund.
Even with gloomy whether I often have here, the simulation of the sun lightens me up. It should be useful also for star gazing, hiking, or many more purposes, though theres a disclaimer "SunGPS is not intended for real world navigation, aviation use or any other purpose." on the official site.
I recently D/L this handy app.... I had some issue with start up, Mark responded astonishingly quickly and I am happy to report the issue is sorted. I particularly like the interface, it is clean and attractive with the info you need plainly displayed, I look forward to a little more time with this rather elegantly designed app and will advise further. Thanks for your help Mark.. Regards
Works well
The altimeter rocks! The realtime calculation of the sun is awesome. No more startup issues.
I tried several of the sunrise/sunset applications in the appstore, looking for a tool to make sure I was set up for my hunting trips. The visuals in this application are outstanding...tracking the sun across the sky, and even showing the twilight (and it matched what I saw from the field!) Using the additional features of compass direction and elevation in this app, you can even set up your gear before the sun comes up, aligning with where the sun will cross the sky through the morning...an excellent feature I had not thought to use, until I had it in my hand. The only limitation I faced with the application is that it only does your current location; however, the developer has commented that he intends to add the ability to select a location, in the next release.
New release seems to startup faster. Occasionally it wouldnt start for me; this update seems to address that. Looking forward to version 2.0!
No frills, does what it says it will do... Almost. I would like for all data that requires an Internet connection (weather, elevation database lookup) to update without having to restart the app. I would also like to see wind direction in addition to speed. Other than those two things, I highly recommend this app. I especially love knowing how much time there is to sunrise/sunset. The whole thing feeds my inner geek.
Solid has time of sunrise, sunset, time til sunset, date and time, temperature, humididty, wind speed, altitutde, compass and a few other things including of course lat and long. This is all displayed on one screen. Its consise, there are no menus or options to get in the way. It might be nice to be able to only display what you want to see, not that the info is in the way by any means. The ability to control ipod music while this is displayed might be nice. If you want this info handy in one app...its worth 0.99.
Great animation of the sun, app does exactly what it says. It gives me all the information I need, all on one screen! Now I dont have to flip through pages. Looking forward for the announced new features in the update
I really like this program. It uses both US standard and metric which is a major plus. The graphics are nice ad well. Thanks for making this and putting it onsale.
Nice features, easy to handle. I love the simulation of the sun.
Works very nice here in Brazil. Sunset and sunrise times are very accurate.
The look of this application is very nicely done, and the basic info given is good. The temperature readout was right where it should be, and the calculations for the suns position seemed accurate. Unfortunately, the app couldnt seem to automatically connect to a nearby toponym, and I could not find a way to try and do it manually, so I cant comment on the full functionality of the app.
